I left little Jonah at home with his super sweet Halmie (that's Korean
for Grandma).
The bookstore window was beautifully decked out with Doug-Dennis and his Flyaway Fib. The front desk was stacked with books ready for the signing. And the table was piled with Doug cookies ready for the eating.
Thank you to everyone at The Corner Bookstore (bottom left and middle). The party was just perfect and your store is a real treasure. The cute little Doug flying atop a toothpick in the cheese tray was hilarious.

The evening was just INCREDIBLE.
I think I signed 200 books, no lie. I signed from 6:30 until 8:30 non-stop, and miraculously my hand is still attached.
So many friends and family members turned out! THANKS FOR ALL THE LOVE YOU GUYS. Every email, text, hug and high-five was treasured more than you'll know.
And it was just an all around AMAZING evening. Thank you again

My wife Caroline had SOOOO much fun. A BIG thanks to her for helping get Doug off the ground (no pun) and for tracking down those awesome little Doug cookies. Un beso!
We capped the night off with some down-home, southern food… and of course some beer.
