My book is finally available in my town. Yeepa. With the shuttering of our one bookstore, a Barnes and Noble, two stores will corner the Doug-Dennis market in Hoboken. One of them is
Big Fun Toys and they just launched Doug in a BIG way.

I love the hand illustrated sign and hope the excitement continues spreading!

So if you're ever in Hoboken, swing by this great toy store and support my little sheep.

They have Mr. Doug displayed oh
so nicely on the countertop.

And he has his very own shelf in
the book area.

Yesterday, Doug visited his oldest class yet - the second-graders at Mustard Seed Elementary in Hoboken. Several people got a GOOD case of the giggles, the Fib Factory coloring pages came out great and the visit was a BRIGHT ray of sunshine in an otherwise drizzly day.

Too much goodness crammed into one week! Just got word from Kate that our Booklist review was super positive. Had to stop and catch my breath after the good news. What a blessing it is to have so many people respond so positively to the book.

I left little Jonah at home with his super sweet Halmie (that's Korean
for Grandma).

The bookstore window was beautifully decked out with Doug-Dennis and his Flyaway Fib. The front desk was stacked with books ready for the signing. And the table was piled with Doug cookies ready for the eating.

Thank you to everyone at The Corner Bookstore (bottom left and middle). The party was just perfect and your store is a real treasure. The cute little Doug flying atop a toothpick in the cheese tray was hilarious.

The evening was just INCREDIBLE.
I think I signed 200 books, no lie. I signed from 6:30 until 8:30 non-stop, and miraculously my hand is still attached.
